Does Nutrola offer group licenses for German companies?
Yes. A Gruppenlizenz (group license) gives each person on your list one seat with 12 months of Nutrola Premium. A seat is one person’s place, tied to one email address. The minimum is 10 people. You pay once for the 12 months, and nothing renews automatically.
Nutrola Premium includes meal logging by photo, barcode or voice, personal calorie and macro goals, water, fasting, exercise and weight tracking, and sync with Apple Health and Google Health Connect. Nutrola is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
What do group licenses cost?
A group license costs $35 per person for 12 months at 10 to 60 people. Prices are as of November 2026, in US dollars. The regular price is $39.99 a year.
| People | Per person, 12 months | Per person per month | Off the regular price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 to 60 | $35 | $2.92 | 12% |
| 61 to 150 | $32 | $2.67 | 20% |
| 151 to 350 | $30 | $2.50 | 25% |
| 351 to 500 | $27 | $2.25 | 32% |
| 501 or more | $24 | $2.00 | 40% |
People added later pay the same per-person price and get 12 months from the day their access turns on. Organizations in Europe can be invoiced in euros, and for licenses the euro amount is confirmed in the quote.
Can we run a 4-week nutrition challenge for our staff?
Yes. The challenge costs €7 per participant, with a minimum of 10 participants. Each participant gets 4 weeks of Nutrola Premium, plus 1 free setup week before the start. Extra participants cost €7 each.
Weekly totals arrive by email for the whole group, or for each team of at least 5 people. A team with fewer than 5 people is counted only in the whole-group total. Access ends on its own, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing is charged.
There is no in-app leaderboard, so the organizer shares the totals however they like. We recommend scoring teams on logging habits, not weight. After the challenge, people can subscribe in the app themselves, or your organization can move the group to 12-month licenses. See how to run a 4-week nutrition challenge at work.
Are customer perks available for insurers and health programs?
Yes. A customer perk gives your customers Nutrola Premium with a purchase, a membership or a program. Partner types include food and supplement brands, gyms and studios, insurers and health programs, and meal-prep and food delivery companies. Customers get 1, 3, 6 or 12 months of Nutrola Premium as a gift.
Each program is priced per customer, by number of people and gift length. There is no public price, so you get a quote. Today, access is set up by email address, from a list of customers who agreed to it. If you need codes that customers redeem themselves, say so in your request, and Nutrola will confirm what is possible for your launch. For more, see Nutrola for partners.
Is the app available in German?
Yes. The app itself is available in German. Nutrola is available in 20 languages, and quotes and invoices are in English.
Can we pay in euros?
Yes, European organizations can be invoiced in euros, and payment is by card or bank transfer. The payment terms are on the quote. Invoices come from Monorra LLC, a Delaware limited liability company that makes Nutrola.
How is VAT handled when a US company invoices a German organization?
Invoices to organizations in the EU are net, which means Nutrola, a US company, does not charge EU VAT (value added tax). Where VAT is due, the customer accounts for it under the reverse charge (the buyer reports the VAT, not the seller).
For services from a company based abroad, § 13b UStG (the German VAT provision that makes the recipient the tax debtor) generally puts the VAT on the recipient when it is a business or a legal person. This includes public bodies. Ask your tax advisor how this applies to you.
What does the organization see?
You see group totals only, on request, such as monthly for licenses or weekly during a challenge. The totals show:
- How many people are on the list
- How many have activated
- How many were active
- The average number of days with at least one logged meal
For challenges, you get the same totals for each team of at least 5 people. You never see anyone’s meals, photos, weight, body measurements, activity or account details, not even on request. See what employers see when staff use Nutrola.
What happens to staff health data?
Health and fitness data is stored on the person’s phone and on Nutrola’s backend. Some of Nutrola’s service providers are in the United States, as the privacy policy explains. Nutrola does not sell health data and does not use it for advertising. Anyone can delete their account and data in the app at any time.
How does sign-up work?
Staff sign up with their listed email address. Nobody on the list pays or enters card details.
- Get a quote through the quote form or by email to partnerships@nutrola.app. A formal PDF quote is available for approval chains.
- Send the email address each person will sign up with. A spreadsheet or a plain list is fine.
- Pay the invoice.
- Each person downloads Nutrola from the App Store or Google Play and signs up with that email address. Premium turns on within one business day of receiving the list and the payment, or of the person signing up if they sign up later.
How to get started
Start with a quote. Use the quote form or email partnerships@nutrola.app. In your message, say which option you want and how many people are involved.
Quick answers
Do we need an admin dashboard or single sign-on?
No. Nothing needs to be installed or connected, because access works by email address, and there is no admin dashboard or single sign-on (SSO).
What if a staff member already pays for Nutrola?
Their license goes on their existing account. They should cancel their own subscription in the App Store or Google Play, since only they can cancel a store subscription, so they are not charged twice.
What happens if someone leaves before using their seat?
A seat that is never activated, or that belongs to someone who leaves, can move to someone else at no cost. Send the new email address to Nutrola.
What happens when a customer perk ends?
Premium simply ends and nothing is charged. Customers can subscribe in the app if they want to keep going.
